Virtual Network Administrator
Communications Diversified, Inc.’s Virtual Network Administrator Service includes up to one hour per week of MCSE certified network administration. (Additional time will be billed separately.)
Administrative services are typically performed once per week.
The Microsoft Certified System Engineer administrator will work at your site or remotely, depending on the services needed. (Remote access must be available.)
Communications Diversified, Inc.’s Virtual Network Administrator Service performs the following tasks:
- Day-to-Day Administration Tasks:
- Create / Modify User Accounts
- Maintain Group Accounts
- Maintain Directory / File Permissions
- Set up and Maintain Print Services and Devices
- Maintain User Access to Print Services
- Server Tasks:
- Review Server Performance
- Insure Proper OS Service Packs and Software Versions
- Review Processor, Memory and Disk Utilization
- Insure Drivers are Updated
- Check Hardware
- Insure all Services are Operational
- Check Server Logs and Proactively Address Problems
- Enforce Security of Network Resources
- Client PC Tasks:
- Check Client PCs for Performance, Connectivity Issues
- Insure Drivers are Updated
- Verify Hardware Performance
- Review/Recommend Upgrades
- Disaster Recovery / Backup Tasks:
- Establish Backup Plan and Schedule
- Verify Operation of all Backup Devices
- Test Backup Media
- Verify RAID and Disk Mirroring Configurations
- Disaster Recovery Planning
- Other Tasks Available at Customer Request
