YMCA of Central New Mexico Receives Telephone Equipment Donation From Communications Diversified and Vodavi
Albuquerque, NM— (December 1, 2006) — Communications Diversified, Inc. and Vodavi Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:VTEK), a provider of traditional and next generation business telecommunications solutions, today announced the donation of a new telecommunication system to the YMCA of Central New Mexico. The donation is valued at more than $10,000.00.
“When a non-profit outlays funds for capital equipment expenditures, those dollars are taken away from the other pressing necessities or critical programs offered by the organization,” said Linda Stevens, CFO, YMCA of Central New Mexico. “The new telephone and voice mail system has improved our ability to better communicate within as well as outside the organization. We are thankful to Communications Diversified and Vodavi for providing this technology enhancement.”
Vodavi, which donated the new digital telephone and voice mail system with assorted telephone handsets, established this community outreach program as a way to help 501c3 charitable organizations have access to the latest communication technologies. Communications Diversified is one of Vodavi’s authorized dealers located throughout the U.S. who achieved Vodavi’s elite President’s Club status making the company eligible to nominate a local area charity to receive this one-time equipment donation. Communications Diversified provided installation and training service at no-charge.
“The YMCA is an extremely critical resource for the children of our community,” said Chet Lytle, President of Communications Diversified. “We are proud to play a small part in providing a service that will enhance their organization and the overall services it provides to those in need.”
