Vodavi Partners With Converged Access To Provide Traffic Management And Quality Of Service Solutions For VoIP Networks
Phoenix, AZ — (April
17, 2006) — Vodavi Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:VTEK),
a provider of traditional and next generation
business telecommunications solutions, and
Converged Access, Inc., the leader in delivering
guaranteed application performance control for
converged VoIP, data and video applications, today
announced a partnership to deliver enterprise
solutions that assist with network readiness
assessment and network traffic management to
ensure that voice traffic placed onto an IP
network has guaranteed bandwidth available to
support business critical voice applications.
Under the agreement, Vodavi will resell
Converged Access’ Converged Traffic Manager™ (CTM)
and Converged Access Point (CAP) solutions to
Vodavi Authorized Dealers located nationwide.
Enterprise customers who deploy Converged Access
solutions in conjunction with Vodavi’s XTS-IP and
TeleniumIP communications systems can now employ
traffic management, and other WAN optimization and
application control techniques to guarantee
quality and performance levels for VoIP networks.
The Converged Access solutions allow the network
manager to set priority levels for voice and data
applications so that voice traffic is protected
and can be guaranteed to provide a toll level
Quality of Service (QOS) over the private
network.
